my cute girls
When I was at the MTC, I heard life described like this: the days are like weeks and the weeks are like days. That's how life feels right now--long days but short weeks. Time is going fast (I can't believe Emmy is almost four weeks old!) but days and nights seem to go slowly as they are one big round of feeding, changing diapers, and trying to keep everyone happy. I've been trying to think what "bloggable" events have happened for us and can't think of a whole lot. Emmy is growing well. We're trying to figure out what's going on because she screams after she eats for anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes. I'm not sure if she's gassy, still hungry, wanting to be held, or just grumpy. She is the cutest thing ever though, as you will notice in the pictures.
Mini is now done with swimming lessons and took great strides forward in blowing bubbles, doing bobs, floating on her back, climbing out of the pool from hanging on the wall, and overall gaining more skills in the water. She cracks me up. The other day she was falling off the couch on purpose, when she stood up and said, "That was amazing!" Another time I was headed to the bathroom and told her where I was going. She said very decidedly, "I'm going to watch." Sure enough she pulled a chair up right in front of the toilet to watch me. (I've never considered going to the bathroom to be a spectator sport, but whatever.)
Here are some recent pictures. I'm pretty sure I have the cutest girls in the world!!

Ok you two so we are coming in Thursday night August 7th, and you are probably leaving Friday. Do you think you will leave Friday morning early? Or would we have a chance to run down and see you early Friday morning?
We need to get a few things out of the house and drop off your adorable baby gift- so we just have to see you even if it rushed. Let us know what your plan is! Thanks
Naomi and Devin
